SO CLOSE TO BEING DONE IRVING 3

So today, the fifteenth day of writing Irving 3, I passed 75,000 words. I have chapter 27 to write and then the epilogue. I think I can do that in less than 6,000 words, so the final tally will be somewhere under 81,000. I'm hoping it's more like 78,000. We'll see. I have one more day of writing ahead of me on Monday.

I'm super happy with the many character developments that happen in this book. It really moves so many characters along their narrative paths, exposing almost all of the academy's secrets, and setting up Irving's motivation to be more direct in stopping Dean Harmstrike. I think it functions as a perfect penultimate book.
